The first acts have been announced for much-loved Stradbally festival Electric Picnic, which returns from September 2th-4th.
Among the line-up are crowd pleasers such as Chemical Brothers, LCD Soundsystem, Lana Del Ray and New Order.
Meanwhile, other acts that have been announced include Years & Years, HAIM, Super Furry Animals and Gavin James.
More acts will be released in the coming months, but according to the Twitter reaction this afternoon, revellers are pretty pleased with today’s announcement.
Meanwhile, it was revealed this morning that Sunday day tickets for the festival are now sold out, before any acts were even announced. Pretty good going, eh?
Last year, headline acts included Florence + The Machine, Underworld, Manic Street Preachers.
