Dublin GAA hunk Bernard Brogan has revealed details of his upcoming wedding to fiancee Kiera Doyle.
The couple got engaged in January while on holiday in Turkey, and while the footballer previously revealed that they’ll be getting married over Christmas, has divulged more details.
Speaking on 2FM’s The Nicky Byrne Show this morning, Bernard revealed that the couple will say their vows at Christmas, because “it’s the only time footballers can get married because it’s the only time you’re guaranteed a month off.”
The 32-year-old also made the shocking revelation that even though it’s set to be a huge event, the celebrations will not be taking place in one of the Brogan family hotels.
“There’s so many people that I’ll have to invite to it will probably end up being a massive wedding but sure that’s all part of it.
“We just want to go down the country and do something small. I’m sick of walking around our hotels. I want it to be a new experience with new memories,” he said.
The football star told 2FM that he is leaving most of the planning to Keira, but is trying to ease the workload for his wife-to-be, in whatever way he can.
“I’m not making any of the decisions but I’m just trying to take some of the workload.
“Kiera’s leading the charge. A lot of little stuff needs to be organised. It’s a lot of work,” he said.
