The Tommy, Hector & Laurita Pod have announced the end of their podcast.
In a joint statement, the trio revealed they have made the “difficult decision to close the Henhouse podcast door”.
“Tommy, Hector & Laurita have made the difficult decision to close the Henhouse podcast door for good,” the statement read.

The podcast trio said the decision was made as it “became tougher to find the time to record together” due to individual work schedules.
“This wonderful podcast started during the pandemic when all three had clear work schedules and although it has been hugely successful & a wonderful experience for all involved, it became tougher to find time to record together allowing for each of their individual careers and schedules.
“Thank you for listening.
“The Henhouse Team,” they concluded.
The podcast which was described as “pure conversation, of the language-loving storytelling variety” was first released back in September of 2020 and featured Tommy Tiernan, his school pal Hector O’hEeochagain and Mayo woman Laurita Blewitt at the helm.
The trio then released their own separate statements where they thanked fans for their continued support over the years.
Fans of the popular podcast were quick to share their disappointment at the news with one follower responding: “No way I am absolutely gutted!!!!!!! Every episode was such a good laugh. Would love one last one all the best bits.”
While another commented: “Awwwwh no. I loved the henhouse banter, I will miss it. Best wishes to you all.”
