Bláthnaid Treacy isn’t a regular mam, she’s a cool mam.

And she certainly showcased that when she posed up a storm on the Platinum VIP Style Awards red carpet on Friday night.

“I haven’t had a big night out in a very long time,” she tells us as this time last year she was pregnant with little Nancy.

She welcomed her first child in June.

“She is the cutest child on the whole entire planet. She is the most wonderful little thing,” she gushes, before adding: “I was pregnant with her this time last year. I can’t believe it! So much has changed in the space of a year.”

Little Nancy is nine months old, so how has almost a year of motherhood been for Bláthnaid?

“It’s really hard but it’s also the most rewarding thing in the whole wide world. She’s just amazing. It’s the biggest change that you’ll ever go through but it’s the best thing you’ll ever go through.”

But it’s not just her daughter who is keeping her busy, she’s also on RTÉ 2FM every Friday to Sunday. She’s the host of the Lotto and she even heads down to Cork for The Today Show from time to time. Oh and who could forget her podcast with Laura Fox, The Handover!

“It’s all go. We’re sort of non-stop. It’s all just juggling, but you make it work. Like all mams!” she admits.

But she teases what we can expect from the second season of her pod!

“It is coming back for a season two,” she promises.

“I haven’t seen Laura in so long and we need to have a proper catch up! But we’ll save it all for the podcast. We have such a ball doing it. We were recording it in my house, in my dining room with Nancy crawling around, I’m so excited to come back for season two!”
