Congratulations are in order for two Fair City stars.
And now the pair are expecting their first child together.
The pair originally met on the Fair City set becoming close friends before that blossomed into something more.

Speaking to RSVP Magazine, they confirmed that they were expecting their little one.
“We found out about two weeks before Christmas, and it was the best present ever. It was an exciting Christmas for all the family,” Connie told the publication.
She explained how she Facetimed Shane to tell him the good news before he hopped in a taxi from Dublin to Wicklow to celebrate with Connie.
How sweet!
Shane went on to say that the news came less than a fortnight into his Dancing with the Stars prep but he was delighted by the news.
“I knew that we were ready for this and she would be the best person to raise a child with,” he explained.
Earlier this year, Shane discussed their relationship telling Extra.ie: “We both came out of long relationships and it was one of those things meeting as friends initially, on a similar level as human beings, as artists and having goals that aligned.
“Above all what I have with her is a beautiful kindred soul bond. We get on as human beings, like a best friend.”
He went on to gush about his partner, saying: “You can share extremely intimate moments of every wide kaleidoscope of emotion with someone who supports me, has my best interests at heart, holds me to a standard probably higher than I hold myself to, but is there to back me all the time. She’s my crutch, she’s my rock and I like to think I do a few good things for her.”
