It was a shock when Katja Mia and Blu Hydrangea ended up in the dance-off on Sunday night.
Even the judges were at a loss!
It was with a heavy heart we had to say goodbye to Katja Mia despite her impressive 28 score from the judges.
However, Katja left the competition with her head held high!
She shared a video of her last dance bidding farewell to the competition ahead of the semi-final.
“THE LAST DANCE,” she wrote.
“I’m so proud that we’ve made it this far (9 whole weeks) and I truly could not have asked for a better partner @ervinas_m throughout this experience !!! Here’s to going out with a BANG.
“The support messages each week have been something special and I’m so grateful for everyone’s kindness and encouragement from day 1. I’ll miss that. Thank uuu everyone.”

Her fellow DWTS competitor Laura Fox told her: “You are so phenomenal Kat! Gave it everything every week on the dancefloor and off the dancefloor you’re the kindest, sweetest, funniest, most stunning person I’ve ever met! Love you so much xx”
While her dance partner Ervinas Merfeldas told her: “You have been an absolute pleasure to teach and experience this journey with. An absolute perfect student with nothing but 100% to give at all times and we definitely went out showing what a star performer you have become. Couldn’t be prouder.”
The semi-final of Dancing with the Stars takes place this Sunday at 6:30pm on RTÉ One.
