Garth Brooks takes in the sights at Glendalough

Garth Brooks is making the most of his time here in Ireland. The singer has a few days off before he next takes to the stage in Croke Park.

Although it had been believed that the American star would be remaining in a COVID bubble while he remains in Ireland, he has clearly through those rules out the window.

He was spotted over the weekend holding a singsong in a park in Dublin city. And now he and his wife Trisha Yearwood decided to go full tourist.

The couple took in the sights at the Glendalough Monastic Site after Garth played his first round of shows at Croke Park over the weekend.

They looked relaxed as they were given a tour around the site, with Garth wearing beige trousers, a blue t-shirt and a check flannel shirt. He kept out the cold by handing a navy hoodie to the look.

While Trisha, who married Garth almost two decades ago in 2005, opted for a cream knit jumper and a pair of skinny jeans.

“Look who was spotted at Glendalough’s monastic heritage site. We may all be paying Garth Brooks a visit in Croke Park while he is on tour, but he can’t resist our stunning heritage sites,” the Office of Public Works wrote alongside the picture on Facebook.

Garth will continue his iconic run of shows in Croke Park on Friday and Saturday before he and Trisha head back home.
