Yewande Biala has revealed her surprise at Curtis and Maura’s budding relationship.

Following his split from Amy Hart earlier this month, Maura told the dancer she had feelings for him, and the pair decided to get to know each other a little better.

When new girl Francesca arrived into the villa last week, she too decided to pursue Curtis, however, a few days later he revealed he wants to stick with Maura.

Yewande’s stunned by the recent romance, and feels it came out of nowhere.

Speaking to VIP Magazine, she said,  “I couldn’t believe it. I was like, ‘Are you having a laugh, am I missing something?’

“It’s weird because I lived in that villa for three and a half weeks and not once did I see her look at him.

“I don’t know [if she’s playing a game]. She seems as if she does genuinely like him. It’s just shocking. We didn’t see them together, even as friends.”

Even though things seem to be going well for Maura and Curtis in the villa, Yewande isn’t sure if their relationship last when they leave.

She told us, “In the villa it could work. It forces you to couple up with people who you normally wouldn’t on the outside world because that’s all you know. You get to know more about their personalities and what they’re like as a person.

“In there, yeah, it will work, but on the outside I don’t see it because they’re two different people. Knowing them individually, I don’t see the connection on the outside world.”

Meanwhile, Limerick native Greg O’Shea entered the villa earlier this week and set his sights on MauraYewande believes the new level of interest will test her relationship with Curtis, and worries for the pair.

“With Maura, this is the first time she’s getting attention,” she said.

“Usually she’s always chasing the lads and this is the first time Curtis has picked her over someone else.

“Now a bombshell [Greg] has gone in and been like, I want you. It could change everything. She might not know what to do.”
