It seems a fight in the 3Arena could happen sooner than expected, if Conor McGregor gets his way.
The Crumlin native opened up about his desire to get into the ring again in Ireland, and would be only too happy for it to happen in the Dublin venue.
Speaking to SevereMMA, Conor said, “I’ll go back to The 02 no problem, or the 3Arena or the Point. I’ll go back there and fight.
“I haven’t outgrown that. I haven’t outgrown my home f***ing town. I’m still me.
“F*** Vegas, seriously. If they don’t give me Ireland, give me the east coast next.”
Conor will be fighting Rafael Dos Anjos in Vegas on March 5, and is expected to fight there again on July 9 as part of UFC 200, but is determined to get away from that part of America as soon as they are done.
“Vegas this one. Vegas next one probably because I committed to UFC 200, I did commit to that, then f***ing Dublin,” he said.
Fingers crossed he gets his way!
