He currently plays for Milton Keynes Dons, however, the team has decided not to renew his contract beyond 2022.
Connor began his professional football career when he was 16 years old, he made his debut for Ipswich Town.
In 2011, Wickham signed a four-year deal with Premier League club Sunderland and in 2015 he moved to Crystal Palace.
In 2020 he moved to Preston North End before joining his current team Milton Keynes Dons in January of 2022.

Connor is a proud father
Connor has a five-year-old son, Jaxon, who he shares with his ex-girlfriend, Kayla Cadorna.
Marking Jaxon’s fifth birthday, Connor wrote, “5 YEARS!!!! 5 Years ago you changed my life in the most amazing way. You taught me unconditional love like no other. Keep being the amazing little man you are.”

How did Maura and Connor meet?
Maura was apparently introduced to Connor through friends and it seems like they hit it off straight away.
The couple is said to be “mad” about each other and jetted off to Paris in May.
Maura only posted pictures of herself alone on the trip, snaps showed two meals when she headed to restaurants. She also captioned a post of her at the Eiffel Tower with the phrase, “Fight for your fairy tale.”
However, it was her friend who sent the rumour mill into overdrive when she wrote, “I can’t look at these pics without smiling x p.s… cupids work here is done.”
“Maura keeps her cards close to her chest but she seems totally mad on Connor,” the insider told The Sun.
