Karen Byrne has opened up about her relationship with boyfriend Jake Carter.
The couple met when working together on the second series of Dancing with the Stars last year.
They got together a few months after the show ended, and have been going strong ever since.
In fact, the pro-dancer even went as far as to say that the pair have never had a fight!
“Touch wood, we’ve never had an argument anyway,” she told VIP Magazine.
“I think he just doesn’t… he let’s me be the one that goes off, and he’s just too nice,” she joked.
While the couple are get on very well, Karen stepped that she won’t be following him around on tour.
“No, I wouldn’t be travelling with him, I’d be busy,” she said.
“I’ve got my own stuff going on. The ones that are local I’ll go but I’m not one that follows him around!”
The Dubliner will be kept busy with her new dance studio which is set to open soon.
“It’s something that I always wanted to do, so when the show ended this time I just said now is the time. I knew mentally I was ready to do it, so when I saw a premises that was right I just went for it,” she revealed.
“It’s for all ages, obviously mainly I do ballroom and Latin, but we’re going to have teachers in doing ballet, hip hop, jazz – everything.”
The dancer shared her pride at having a studio with her name on it, and added she can’t wait to begin classes.
“I can’t believe it, we’re getting the place ready now, I have Jake in doing a lot of the handy work as well God love him! It’s mad because you’re doing it and putting all the work in but you know it’s yours, I feel like it’s my baby. So I can’t wait to finally open the doors of it.”
