Anyone who watched the Late Late show last Friday will know that one of the most memorable parts of the show was Shane Lynch’s reaction to an old clip of Boyzone.
The singer arrived late to the interview after his flight to Dublin was delayed, and missed out on the band’s performance.
When he did arrive, Ryan played a clip of the lads 25 years ago, when they were just starting out.
Rather than laugh it off, Shane told Tubs “you can shove it up your f***ing hole” and stuck his finger up to the camera.

Explaining the reaction to the clip today, Shane said that he didn’t appreciate the throwback.
“I arrive in this TV studio called RTE… we’ve been there for a long time, and they decide from the beginning of that interview to try and take us down a peg or two.
“Like we f**king need it. We don’t need that kind of s***,” he told The Niall Boylan Show.
“The bottom line is I was just disappointed in the fact that we were very young and very innocent,” he added, explaining that people should be focusing on their success in recent years.
“We’ve gone on to do amazing things, amazing things. And what are you going to do? Try and chop us down?
“I’ll tell you what. Anyone that has tried to chop me down I’ve cut them off and told them how I didn’t like it. I like Ryan Tubridy.
“If you want to chop me down and try and put me in a place, I’m going to come out fighting. And that’s all that happened.”
