Nathan Carter is keeping those staying in a Cork hotel entertained as Hurricane Ophelia rages on.

The country singer was due to perform in Cork tonight but his show was cancelled due to the severe and dangerous weather.

Nathan decided to keep guests at The Montenotte Hotel in good spirits by playing some music.

Lucky fans and guests at the hotel were treated to some piano and singing from the country music favourite.

Nathan informed his fans earlier today that he had to cancel his gig at the Cork Opera House tonight and would reschedule for next month.

“I regret to announce that my show tonight in Cork Opera House has been postponed due to the serious weather conditions prevailing and the status red warning that is in place throughout the country.

“The safety of our audience, band and crew are of the highest importance which is why we have made this difficult decision.

“I’m otherwise happy to announce that the show has now been rescheduled to Sunday 26th November.
Please take care of yourselves until the storm has passed.

“Stay safe, Nathan.”

This is not the first concert to be cancelled due to the severe conditions today, as Zara Larsson’s gig was also postponed.
