Ed Sheeran’s Game of Thrones character’s fate may have just been revealed.
Ed appeared on the show as a soldier for the Lannister army in episode one of season seven.
Since the brief cameo, viewers of the show have been left wondering what became of the Galway Girl singers solider character, amid war in the seven kingdoms.
Last week’s episode showed an intense fight scene, in which Daenerys Targaryen’s army took out the Lannister’s who were guarding the loot train on it’s way back to King’s Landing, and the question on everyone’s lips was ‘did Ed make it out?’
“I don’t think literally those soldiers were there,” Episode director Matt Shakman told Mashable.
Matt was referring to the group of Lannister soldiers that Arya encountered earlier in the season, which of course, included Ed.
So it seems Mr. Sheeran made it out alive! Will we be seeing him again?
