There’s been a lot of shakeups in the radio landscape recently.
And we mean a lot.
From Doireann Garrihy’s maternity cover, to Ray D’arcy’s departure, to a new Liveline presenter, to Katja Mia joining 2FM, it’s been all go!
Kieran Cuddihy was confirmed as the man to follow in Joe Duffy’s footsteps on Liveline earlier this month.

However, that means that Kieran would be leaving Newstalk and leaving The Hard Shoulder without a presenter.
Rumours are swirling as to who could replace him and it looks like Newstalk has their eyes set on someone.
According to Extra.ie, Virgin Media star Gavan Reilly is in the running for the coveted gig.
“One of those who is near the top of the list is Gav Reilly. He had a weekend radio show, he knows the lay of the land, and he’s a solid current affairs man,” a source told the publication, adding that they are looking at a number of candidates.

Ciara Doherty is also rumoured to be in the running for the Hard Shoulder role.
Last week, RTÉ confirmed Kieran’s new role as host of Liveline.
In a statement, RTÉ said: “As Liveline celebrates 40 years on air, Kieran Cuddihy will take the helm each day from 1.45 pm, getting to the heart of the discussions that truly matter to the people of Ireland.
“Liveline has become a significant part of Irish life and Kieran will now take the driving seat and continue the evolution of this iconic Irish institution.”
