U2 are set to play a free concert this week as they are honoured with the Global Icon award at the MTV Europe Music Awards.
The Irish rock band will perform at Trafalgar Square in London on Saturday, November 11th.
Bono and Co. will perform live in front of around 7000 people and a song from the show will then be played at the EMA’s the following day.

This is the first time the award show takes place in London in 21 years.
The ceremony will be broadcast on MTV from The SSE Arena, Wembley on Sunday 12 November at 8pm.
