TV3 presenter Mark Cagney is reportedly set to step away from his presenting role on Ireland AM.
The Cork native has been with TV3 for over 20 years, but is now set to leave the popular morning show.
“Mark is due to hang up his mic next year, so they are planning to revamp the show,” A source told The Irish Mail on Sunday.
The news comes after Mark’s former co-host Sinead Desmond announced her decision to leave the station late last year following disputes over pay.
Sinead had been with tv3 for 11 years when she announced her decision.
“She went into them and said she was disgusted at the difference. But they said “no”. ‘They have called her bluff.’” a source told The Irish Mail on Sunday.
