The VIP List: Here’s everything team VIP is loving this week

March is here!

St Patrick’s Day and Easter are just around the corner.

So we have plenty of reasons to be happy. Here’s what team VIP is loving this week!

Head of Digital Jade is loving… A solid scent

The days may be getting brighter and less dreary, but that doesn’t mean that we can’t still cosy up and get a good candle going.

It is literally snowing today after all.

My new fav scent has got to be Max Benjamin’s Seville Orange Blossom. A mix of fruity citrus and gorgeous zesty tones, I’ve got it on full blast today while working away and it’s making my home feel a lot more inviting.
Gorgeous.

Commercial & Events Director Rebecca is loving…AYA

I am currently hooked on AYA Electrolytes Plus, particularly in their blackcurrant flavour.

I find electrolytes great to help keep up your hydration, particularly if you are in the gym, under the weather or suffering with overall fatigue and tiredness. These little guys are a firm staple in my handbag! You can buy them on Daisybelle.ie or McCauleys nationwide.

Digital Editor Bronwyn is loving…SACHAJUAN

The hair journey continues!

This time it’s all about styling, especially the Ocean Mist Volume Hair Mousse.

This is a lightweight formula that delivers exceptional volume, hold, and shine to your hair. It’s enriched with additional hydration to soften your locks and enhance their natural lustre, all while minimising static.

You can get your hands on the product on feelunique.com and lookfantastic.ie

Staff Writer Anja is loving…Life of Pi

I love nothing more than a night spent at the Bord Gais Energy Theatre and their latest show did not disappoint. Yes, after conquering the West End and Broadway, the theatrical phenomenon that is the Life of Pi has landed in Dublin. Based on the best-selling book by Yann Martel, Life of Pi is an epic journey of endurance and hope, and follows the story of a young man named Pi who finds himself stranded on a lifeboat after an epic storm in the Pacific Ocean with four other survivors – a hyena, a zebra, an orangutan, and a Royal Bengal tiger.

I was unsure of what to expect at first, seeing as most of the story is spent on a boat but its use of jaw-dropping visuals and world-class puppetry absolutely blew me away. One of the main elements of the piece is how they bring to life the various animals that feature throughout the story as Pi grew up at a zoo in India. There was even a point where I genuinely forgot the animals were in fact puppets as they were so realistic!

While the book can be thoughtful and slow-moving, the pace in this adaptation is kept deliberately high and promises to keep audiences happy with its impressive style and verve.

The show runs until March 2nd with tickets available to purchase from the Bord Gais Energy Theatre website.

Head of Digital Jade is loving… A fresh face

I don’t know about you, but there’s something about a fresh batch of skincare products that just makes me feel like I’ve got my life together.

Cleansing, moisturising, exfoliating… it’s a surefire way to enter into a new month correctly, and have your skin feeling amazing while you’re at it.

Aveeno recently sent me their new Calm + Restore Facecare range, and it’s been only gorgeous trying it all out.

The Oat Rich Balm is a personal favourite. Just stunning!

Digital Editor Bronwyn is loving…Ferrari

Okay not the car. I wish!

But the Ferrari movie with Adam Driver and Penelope Cruz. It follows the life of Enzo Ferrari and he took his struggling car company to one of the most iconic brands in the world.

With such a chilly weekend, it’s the perfect way to spend a Friday. The film is now streaming on NOW!
