Can you believe that we’re almost into August? Honestly, we’re speechless!

With the heat we’ve had in recent weeks it’s easy to focus on your skin, making sure your keeping yourself protected from those UV rays, but let’s not neglect the hair while we’re at it.

Summer is a hard time on your locks, as they get covered in sweat, saltwater, sand and suncream. So it’s important to treat your mane right this time of year, and if you’re looking for the best products, well Briogeo has got you covered.

I’m a massive fan of all their stuff, all though it’s pricy so everything is used sparingly.

Still the Superfoods Avocado And Kiwi Mega Moisture Superfoods Hair Mask has been a god send this week. Keeping my hair hydrated and helping to detangle. Available at Cult Beauty.

Deputy Editor Niamh experienced The Cher Show in total luxury…

Last night, Host & Company took me along to see The Cher Show in the Bord Gais Energy Theatre, and oh what a night it was.

Ahead of the show, we got to experience the new-look Circle Club, where those with an annual membership can dine before the show, enjoy a drink and dessert at the interval and sip on a nightcap after the curtain has fallen.

It’s such a gorgeous slice of luxury. I ordered prawn cocktail and a glass of Albariño to start, followed by battered hake and fries, then we made our orders for dessert at the interval — I went for elderflower and lavender panna cotta, and another glass of wine. The new decor is plush, with a chic old-school vibe, and the atmosphere is lovely and chilled. I almost forgot that we were there to see a musical, I was enjoying it so much!

At the interval, we headed back to our reserved table with the desserts and drinks waiting for us — no scrambling at the bar here!

The show was absolutely dazzling; telling the story of Cher’s meteoric rise to fame through three versions of herself at different stages in her life, the highlight was the medley of her biggest hits in the final act — everyone was up on their feet and it felt like we’d been transported to a glittery nightclub in the 90s.

We topped the night off with bubbles on the theatre’s Terrace bar, on the top floor, overlooking the Grand Canal Square. Perfection. Find out more about the Circle Club and tickets for the show on bordgaisenergytheatre.ie

Digital Editor Bronwyn O’Neill is loving…POWERCUT Clothing

I love nothing more than athleisure wear. I’m definitely not a gym going gal, but I enjoy my walks and an odd hike or two. So that means I like to have some good quality leggings.

I was very kindly gifted some items from POWERCUT Clothing, an Irish-founded athleisure brand which caters to whatever you need. In fact, I ended up wearing two of the tops to dinner and into the office as they are just so versatile.

They have just launched a new 64-piece collection which I am head over heels for and will definitely be snapping up in future!

The range goes from a size six up to a size 20, with prices starting at €29 and reaching €79. You can shop the collection here.
