The VIP List: Here’s what we’re loving this week

Despite what the weather may say, we have officially hit the Spring equinox.

And we think that is plenty to celebrate!

Here’s what we’re loving this week!

Digital Editor Bronwyn is loving…clean teeth

I mean, who doesn’t? Oral B has done a study that said 63 per cent of Irish adults find bad oral hygiene a major ick when it comes to relationships.

And I would have to agree.

Thankfully I’ll be scrubbing my teeth clean after every meal with my Pro-2, so I won’t be giving anyone the ick!

You can find OralB electric toothbrushes in Dunnes Stores, Tesco and pharmacies nationwide.

Head of Commercial and Events Rebecca is loving…art for good

Why not buy some art for good?

The SumGood Art Auction will take place on April 4th in person at the Copper House Gallery and online here. It will auction off 120 contemporary artworks from some of Ireland’s most loved artists. The aim is to raise €30,000 to fund a free chef training programme that aims to change lives, one cook at a time.

Trainees will come from all walks of life and SumGood will collaborate with groups working in Direct Provision, homelessness charities, inner city groups, early school leavers, immigrants etc and will aim to offer the same opportunities to local and migrant communities alike.

Digital Editor Bronwyn is loving…moisturised lips

There’s nothing I hate more than chapped lips.

And I have gone through my fair share of lip balm to try to make sure that my lips are never in need of moisturise.

I’m obsessed with the Declare Skincare Moisture Lip Balm. It’s formulated with beeswax, shea butter and coconut oil to make sure that dry, cracked lips are intensively nourished, strengthened and moisturised.

It is available on declareireland.ie and pharmacies nationwide.

Staff Writer Anja is loving…tap dancing with the cast of Aladdin

This morning I was kindly invited to participate in a Tap masterclass with the cast of Disney’s Aladdin, and I cannot express enough how amazing it was! In celebration of the musical coming to the Bord Gáis Energy Theatre, we were taught the iconic tap dance routine from ‘Never had a Friend Like Me’ by the award-winning choreographer from the production to the backdrop of the stunning Aladdin set on the Bord Gáis stage itself.

For someone who was raised on watching and attending musicals, this very much was a dream come true for little Anja. While the routine was difficult, to say the least, all the ensemble dancers, along with the choreographer, were lovely and really took the time to help us out if we were struggling with any of the steps. And yes I will be tapa tapa taping my way into the weekend, thank you very much.

Disney’s Aladdin is currently showing in the Bord Gáis Energy Theatre until the 14th of April. Get your tickets here!
