The VIP List: Here’s what we’ve been loving this week

We have been pretty busy at VIP HQ as we’re prepping for the February issue of the magazine to hit shelves.

We can’t wait for you to see it.

But in between getting everything ready, we’ve had plenty to enjoy this week.

Here’s what Team VIP has been loving this week.

Staff Writer Anja is loving…VeganTan Tan Eraser Mousse

I’m not one to wear tan regularly so when I do, it feels amazing! However, it’s the removal process that I’m not a fan of… The aggressive scrubbing and stubborn patches that just don’t seem to want to come off – honestly there’s nothing worse! Luckily, I’ve recently discovered a solution to my problem. The Tan Eraser Mousse from VeganTan is key to tan removal and leaves my skin streak free.

Super easy to apply, it’s packed with gentle exfoliating ingredients which quickly break down and melt away old colour, while also helping to prep the skin, making it softer and more receptive for your next application.

So, whether you’ve made a tanning error and need to make a quick fix or go back to your natural complexion, this will be your new best friend! You can find it in leading pharmacies nationwide including McCabes, Meaghers and McCauley’s.

Deputy Editor Michelle is loving…a weekend of R&R

Enjoying a weekend of R&R – and breaking up the longest month ever – I recently visited the beautiful Ferrycarrig Hotel in Wexford for a cosy night away.

Nestled along the River Slaney, this hotel offers beautiful views of the water from the bedroom, with fairytale woodlands behind; a complete oasis of bliss! After relaxing on the balcony and soaking up the views with a cuppa, I was sure to visit the pool area for a swim and a soak in the jacuzzi, before stopping by the award-winning Reeds Restaurant for dinner.

The feather-blade steak is a must! With cosy decor and the friendliest of staff, it’s a home away from home. I’m already planning a trip back! Visit their website to book your stay.

Weekend editor Sláine is loving…Pamela, A Love Story

As a Baywatch fan, I was, of course, excited to see Pamela Anderson give fans a glimpse into her life. Her new documentary on Netflix tells the story of Pamela Anderson from her own perspective, through personal videos and diaries.

She is extremely open with fans and her bravery is honestly astonishing. Those who know anything about Pam will be aware that she has gone through a lot of challenges, so it’s certainly not light watching.

But overall, the emphasis is Pamela, and how she has persisted through it all. Honestly, there isn’t much to say without spoilers, but if you want to know Pamela Andersons’ story, this is the best source you’ll find.

Digital Editor Bronwyn is loving… Benefit Fluff Up Brow Wax

The eyebrows frame the face. And as someone who has fair hair, my eyebrows are not very voluminous. I’ve tried plenty of products over the year but when Benefit’s latest product dropped I was eager to try it out.

I used it to style my brows before using my eyebrow pencil. But after I put it on I realised that I didn’t even need to put in the pencil to define my brows as the wax had set them perfectly.

You can pick it up for €28.50 in retailers across the country.
