Yesterday evening Brian Dowling married his long term partner Arthur Gourounlian in the Powerscourt Hotel, and the celebs were out in force for his special big day.
Brian’s BFF Pippa O’Connor has been talking about the wedding non-stop for the past couple of days – and who could blame her? The lavish wedding looked like it was amazing.
Pippa, who married her Brian Ormond in the very same hotel a few years ago, was in attendance for the wedding alongside a number of other showbiz faces, such as UK presenters Tess Daly and Vernon Kay, Steps star Claire Richards, ex-Big Brother star Narinder Kaur and radio presenter Kat Shoob. Obviously not forgetting the main Irish star in attendance: Louis Walsh.
One Irish celebrity who was particularly star struck on the night, was Karl Broderick, husband of TV3 presenter Alan Hughes. Karl was over the moon that he got to meet his idol, Steps singer Claire.
Posting on Facebook, Karl said, “Anyone who knows me, knows what a big deal this is. Every one of my pantos had to have at least one song from this group…(And I can’t even pretend to be cool)…hanging with STEPS Claire, and she’s so sweet. We even sang Loves Got A Hold Of My Heart together. Cross it off my bucket list… Swoon!”
All the stars were sure to pose for a few snaps on the night, as well as take plenty of and with the newly weds!

A number of celebs have also been posting their congratulations to the pair online.
Brian McFadden quickly posted his well-wishes, saying “Good luck to Brian and Arthur on your wedding day! I hope you have a fabulous day and a wonderful love filled life together x.”
Maia Dunphy said, “Congratulations Brian & Arthur!! Looked a beautiful day and you both looked incredible!”
Louise McSharry, who is also getting prepared for her big day, posted “How fab does Brian look? Congrats!”
While Myleene Klass posted, “Scream! Brian Dowling just got married! Love and happiness for all your days x”
