In the first big celebrity wedding since the legalisation of same-sex marriages, TV presenter and former Big Brother star Brian Dowling married his long-term partner, Arthur Gourounlian, in a lavish ceremony in the Powerscourt Hotel in County Wicklow.
The hotel, which used to be known as the Ritz Charlton, has previously played host to the wedding parties of Rosanna Davison and Pippa O’Connor, with the latter – a long time friend of Brian’s – being one of the guests on the big day.
While the press were kept away from the event, pictures have already emerged on social media, which show a newly-wed (and delighted) Brian and Arthur smiling for the cameras, as well as posing with some of their guests, who included Brian’s former Big Brother housemate, Narinder Kaur.
