Teresa Mannion has been using her new found fame for good, opting to go back to the scene of that famous weather report, for a very special reason.
The last time we seen Teresa on the promenade in Salthill, she gave an Oscar worthy performance which resulted in international fame – amassing remixes galore, Christmas jumpers designed in her honour and A-list celebrities posting about her on social media.
Now, Teresa has returned to the scene, and in an unlikely tale, tells people “Do swim in the sea!”
The RTE star has teamed up with COPE Galway to raise awareness for their Christmas Day Swim, taking place on December 25th from 10am -12 noon.
The event will be in aid of homelessness, domestic violence and older people services.
