Niall Horan has shown that despite his millions, he hasn’t lost touch with his roots. After spending Christmas with pals back home in Mulligar, the One Direction star jetted in to London to join the crowds at the World Darts Championship, posing happily with fans and celebs like comedian Jack Whitehall.
So while fellow bandmate Harry Styles was living it up in St. Barts with Kendall Jenner, Niall enjoyed the simpler pleasures of Raymond “Barney) Van Barneveld aiming for One Hundred and Eighty! Dressed in his trademark tweet cap, Niall posed for photos with various adoring fans, as well as some of the famous “Walk On” girls from the darts events, having earlier in the day watched Arsenal beat Newcastle in the Premier League clash at Highbury.
With One Direction on an extended break, it seems that Niall is determined to catch up on the fun things in life, revealing that “I’ve spent the past few years of my life in planes and on tour buses, and I’ve been through countries I’ve really loved but haven’t had a chance to really see. I want to go back to Australia and definitely Thailand. With the band, we stayed in luxury hotels, but I want to see these countries like any lad at my age, just staying in hostels and that sort of thing.”
And judging by the way he’s started out, it looks like fancy hols in 5-star resorts is not Niall’s thing!
