After the unveiling of her baby bump yesterday, Stephanie Davis has announced further details about her pregnancy and plans she has in place for the delivery of her first child.
Stephanie’s pregnancy has been a cause for controversy recently, as her ex Jeremy McConnell told TV Now magazine that the baby is not his last month. Despite these claims, Steph is still adamant that he is the father.
Speaking to OK! Magazine, the 23-year-old revealed that she will be filming her birth so that one day if Jeremy “sorts himself out” he will be able to see it.
“I like the idea of a water birth but I’ve heard you can’t have an epidural with that. As it’s my first time I’ll be wanting as much pain relief as I can get.
“I want to film the birth just in case Jeremy sorts himself out and wants to see what it was like,” she said.
The mum-to-be also told the mag that she has names picked out for her baby already, both male and female options. Whatever the gender though, the baby’s surname will be Davis.
“If I have a boy he’s going to be the perfect gentleman – I’ll never let him mistreat a girl.
“If it is a boy I’d like to call him Albie as my grandad’s name was Albert. He was my everything so I would love his name incorporated with my new baby if I can.
“My favourite girls’ name at the moment is Freya-Lucia. Either way the baby will have my surname, not Jeremy’s,” she said.
Although the actress lashed out at Jeremy on Twitter yesterday, she’s sad that Jez won’t be in hers or her baby’s life, and wishes their relationship turned out differently.
“He told me he was going on holiday to Dubai with his new girlfriend – this was a week after I found out I was pregnant. I even changed the date of the scan so he could be there, but he didn’t turn up.
“It kills me that he isn’t going to be there at the birth to experience it with me. It’s all such a mess, I really thought we had a future together. I’ll always love Jeremy but he doesn’t want to be part of our life,” she said.
We hope everything works out for the best with these two.
