Stephanie Davis appeared on Loose Women yesterday to discuss her pregnancy and ended up getting emotional as she recounted her terrifying hospital experience last week.
The former Hollyoaks actress, who’s due date isn’t until January, concerned fans last week when she stopped updating her social media accounts for several days. Later on in the week, when she returned from hospital, the 23-year-old assured fans she was ok and her baby had not arrived yet, despite what some followers had been speculating.
The former CBB star candidly revealed all the details of her hospital dash during her appearance on Loose Women.
“I was having a nice girly night with my mum then went to bed staying in her room about four in the morning.” she said.
“I had the worst pains ever to the point I asked my mum to knock me out. The pain was that bad I was vomiting, I was seeing black dots cause I was in so much pain. I felt like a release and she was looking to make sure everything was ok and she saw loads of blood come out but it was from the back passage I ended up going to hospital.”
Stephanie also spoke about the panic she felt when she was brought to the delivery ward.
“They couldn’t give me too many painkillers cause I’m pregnant.” she said. “They took me straight up to the delivery ward I was panicking crying cause the blood was coming out everything was pushing down there so water came out.
“My blood pressure was really really low but my white cells were high. They think I’ve got colitis. They can’t test it until I have the baby. I hope it’s nothing else. I’ve just had more tests done so I’m waiting on the results.”
Although the Liverpool native still doesn’t feel 100 percent, she’s looking forward to meeting her little bundle of joy.
“I still don’t feel great.” she said. “I cant wait to have the baby. I’m nervous, I’m looking forward to it but after everything, I’m apprehensive.
“I love him so much. He looks so human! He’s mine, I cant get my head around this. I can’t wait to meet him.”
We wish Stephanie all the best with the remainder of her pregnancy.
