Irish stars and theatre fans stepped out for the opening night of the incredible Wicked.
The global musical phenomenon that tells the incredible untold story of the Witches of Oz has begun a seven-week season at the Bord Gáis Energy Theatre.
The spectacular, multi record-breaking and critically acclaimed touring production had its official opening for a strictly limited run until Saturday 1 September 2018, including Sunday matinees.
Wicked transports audiences to a stunningly re-imagined world of Oz, providing wonders beyond the imagination. The spellbinding smash hit is already the 6th longest-running Broadway show of all time and the 14th longest running West End show of all time. Around the world, WICKED has been seen by over 55 million people and won more than 100 major awards, including three Tony Awards on Broadway and two Olivier Awards in the UK.
Stars including Cassie Stokes, Samantha Mumba, Anna Geary and Darren Kennedy headed along to the electrifying show.
