Ryan O’Shaughnessy’s girlfriend Ailbhe Casey has flown to Portugal show her support ahead of the Eurovision semi-final tonight.
The Irish contestant will be singing at the Altice Arena this evening, to determine whether or not he makes it through to grand final on Saturday night.
Ailbhe stood by for a sneak peak of his performance, and the beaming girlfriend revealed it went incredibly well.
“It was surreal seeing him up there. I was so happy for him,” she told us.
“His voice sounded amazing through the arena. The overall performance was so beautiful and really showed the story he was telling.”
Tonight, Ailbhe will be sitting front and centre with all Ryan’s nearest and dearest, rooting for her other half.
“I’ll be sitting with Ryan’s family and friends tonight. Everybody has landed now and are so excited to see his performance. We have all our Irish flags at the ready.”
Catch tonight’s performance at 8pm on RTE2, and the final on RTE One at 8pm this Saturday.
