Sinéad O’Connor will be laid to rest today in Wicklow.
Fans have travelled to Bray, where she spent some years, to pay their respects to the singer.
Her funeral cortége will pass through Bray after a private funeral service this morning.
This will allow fans to say goodbye to the icon.

The route will begin at the Harbour Bar end of Strand Road and continue along the seafront to the other end of Strand Road.
They will travel past the home where she spent 15 years of her life.
“Sinead loved living in Bray and the people in it, a statement from the family read.
“With this procession, her family would like to acknowledge the outpouring of love for her from the people of Co Wicklow and beyond, since she left last week to go to another place.”
Fans left notes and flowers outside her Bray home. One note read: “Thanks for your short, special life. Gone too soon. Give your lovely son Shane a hug for me in heaven. Have a nice long rest with Shane.”
Shane was Sinéad’s son who passed away by suicide last year at the age of 17.
