Say hello to the January issue of VIP Magazine, on shelves today!

A new year means a brand new issue of VIP Magazine and our January issue is the perfect way to kick off 2022!

With the post-Christmas comedown hitting us hard, we’ve made sure that our latest issue is jam-packed with extra glam shoots to cheer us up as well as some fantastic interviews to keep you entertained!

We also have the return of our fantastic wellness supplement which is filled to the brim with delicious recipes as well as ways to start off 2022 in the healthiest way possible.

Our cover star this month is the unflappable and ever glamorous, Miriam O’Callaghan. Forever busy, this mother of eight never fails to impress us as she hosts Prime Time every Tuesday and Thursday as well as her Radio One weekend show on Saturday and Sunday.

We caught up the 61-year-old about family life, getting Covid, becoming a granny, how she doesn’t care if her house is a mess and how she has never ever had a plan.

“This is my one wonderful life. I’m not going to waste a moment of it worrying about rubbish,” she tells us.

In this month’s issue we spent the day with Mike Denver and his family in their beautiful home in Co Galway.

Joined by his beautiful wife Liz and their adorable daughter Mia, we got to check out the sights and surrounds of Portumna, before the weather took a blustery turn and we settled down in their home for the evening. Mike and Liz have spent over a decade putting their own stamp on the place – but it was the smallest member of the family who was most excited to show it off. Leading us around every room, little Mia beamed with pride as we went around her favourite spots; where mammy sits and plays, where daddy sings and where they spend their mornings laughing and giggling over a bottle and a cuppa – ideal.

After the tour and shoot, we chat to Mike about fatherhood, family influences, the return of live shows and how it feels to finally get back on the road…

We caught up with Missy Keating ahead of her appearance in the newest series of Dancing with the Stars and this was such a fun shoot for us.

Missy is bubbling with energy with a bright smile and a fun-loving personality, you can definitely tell this from our gorgeous shoot! The 20-year-old spoke to us about life in the spotlight, family dynamics, romance as well as her supportive parents, Yvonne Connolly and Ronan Keating.

We spoke to Galway girl, Pamela Uba as she was in Puerto Rico about to represent Ireland in the Miss World finals. Unfortunately, due to Covid cases the competition has had to be postponed but chatting with bubbly and positive Pamela, it barely seemed to phase her.

She tells VIP that she learned how to deal with knockbacks thanks to her upbringing; after moving to Ireland from South Africa at the age of 8, Pamela spent ten years with her family living in Direct Provision and she shares that has shaped the person she is now.

It’s made her a fiercely determined woman, someone who wants to work hard and succeed at everything she does; as well as balancing her job as a medical scientist with children’s charity work and modeling, she tells us that she has a children’s book coming out, and she also wants to pursue her love for singing. “Women are powerhouses,” she tells us. Well, this one certainly is, and we can’t wait to see her take over the world…

Also included in this month’s issue is our free wellness supplement! Featuring our inspirational cover star, Trisha Lewis, she chats to us about creating a healthier life one step at a time.

We also spoke with Pat Divilly about switching your mindset in the new year and focusing on ‘mini-wins’ and the issue is also full of lots of motivational tips and healthy recipes to get you through January.

As well as all this our issue is of course filled with fashion and beauty content as well as our wedding special! Pick up your copy, on shelves now.
