Ruth Negga will be back on our screens in the new year.
The Irish actor will be appearing in emotional film, Good Grief alongside Schitt’s Creek star Daniel Levy and Yesterday actor Himesh Patel.
And we’re sure there won’t be a dry eye in the room when this film comes out if the trailer is anything to go by.
So what can we expect from the Netflix movie?
Well the synopsis reads: “Marc (Dan Levy) was content living in the shadow of his larger-than-life husband, Oliver (Luke Evans). But when Oliver unexpectedly dies, Marc’s world shatters, sending him and his two best friends, Sophie (Ruth Negga) and Thomas (Himesh Patel), on a soul-searching trip to Paris that reveals some hard truths they each needed to face.”
Definitely an emotional watch!
The cast also includes Luke Evans as Daniel Levy’s husband and Celia Imrie, David Bradley, Arnaud Valois, Emma Corrin and Kaitlyn Dever.
Ruth was last on our screen for her Oscar-nominated role in Passing. So we’ve definitely missed her.
The Limerick actor will also appear Apple TV+’s upcoming show Presumed Innocent. She will appear alongside Jake Gyllenhaal in the show which is based on the novel of the same name.
The courtroom thriller is the story of a horrific murder that upends the Chicago Prosecuting Attorneys’ office when one of its own is suspected of the crime.
