RTE presenter Derek Mooney has opened up about the health issues he’s dealt with recently, which led to him having an extremely difficult year both physically and mentally.
The tv and radio presenter revealed that he underwent his second back operation in eight years and it has led to some of the “worst problems of his life.”
Speaking to the RTE Guide Derek said, “A bad year physically, which led to feeling fairly miserable mentally. I had to have another operation on my back, the second in eight years.
“And I’ve had a situation where my entire left leg would go numb. I put on 10kgs.”
