RTE Radio One presenter Cathal Mac Coille has retired from Morning Ireland.
The presenter was on the morning show, which he co-hosted with Rachel English for over 20 years, and signed off on his last show yesterday morning.
“I do know for all kinds of reasons, nothing is forever and I also know that there are all kinds of other things that I want to do and will look forward to doing.” Cathal told Morning Ireland listeners.

Last week it emerged that Six One news presenter Bryan Dobson would be leaving his television slot to join the Morning Ireland team.
