The Xposé hosts have a bit of competition on the horizon, as RTÉ are set to launch a rival entertainment and fashion programme, Bounce.
Model Nadia Forde, Voice Of Ireland Coach Eoin McDermott and model Madeline Mulqeen have all been chosen to co-present the new show, giving the Xposé cast a run for their money.
It’s hoped that Bounce will become RTE’s go-to entertainment programme, and they have already secured presenters in London and Los Angeles to provide showbiz news from overseas.
Diana Bucini will cover all UK red carpet events and Roz Lipsett will be on hand in LA, supplying all the international celebrity and fashion news. It’s believed at this stage that it will be mostly focused on celebrity affairs.
To start things off, the show will run twice or three times weekly and the filming of the first pilot is due to take place later this week.
Xposé currently runs five nights a week and is one of TV3’s most successful programmes.
It won’t be the first time that TV3 and RTE have found themselves with competing programmes – it wasn’t too long ago that the national broadcaster launched Morning Edition which was in direct competition with Ireland AM. Which show will you tune into!?
