Roz Purcell has revealed her shock at Donald Trump’s transformation since the time that she met him during the Miss Universe competition. The Tipperary native went on to sign with Trump models following the beauty pageant.
Speaking on the Anton Savage Show on Today FM, Roz remembered the presidential candidate as nice and professional.
“During the Miss Universe pageant we obviously all met him and I met him a few times after the Miss Universe pageant because I signed with Trump models.
“He was always extremely nice to all of us, obviously he was running the competition so he was very professional and everything,”
“He is someone who does speak his mind. He definitely has an entourage,”she said.
The food blogger continued to say that although he was always pleasant she did feel as if he had an alter ego. Roz also admitted that she has been shocked by some of his behaviour during the election.
“I guess like most people who have been in the limelight for a very long period of time – he’s in America and everyone knows him, he’s a brand – you do have kind of an alter ego and are living up to that.”
“I think now with the presidential election, it’s just gone to another level.
“Like some of the things he’s coming out with you are like ‘what?’. You don’t believe in global warming ‘Who? What?’. It’s just mad because he still has such a huge amount of support,” she said.
