Roz Purcell is set to walk down the aisle!
The model announced her engagement yesterday evening, as her boyfriend of seven years, Zach Desmond, popped the question while the pair were holidaying in County Clare.
Sharing the lovely news with her followers, Roz posted snaps from the proposal, as the pair smiled in front of the Cliff of Moher as the sky was a sunset pink.
The influencer also shared a look at her engagement ring, joking about her broken finger in the caption.
“We’re engaged. I would like to remind everyone I broke my ring finger this year,” she wrote.
Joking: “These rings may need to be cut off cause they squeezed on!”
Roz injured her hand while walking her dogs in March, as her pup Myla went on a “full force run at a ball in the park and the lead wrapped around my finger and pulled it fully to the side.”
Zach is the son of Denis Desmond, music manager to the likes of Hozier and Lyra, as well as the managing director of concert promotors, MCD Productions.
The couple began dating in 2016, after a mutual friend set them up on a blind date.
As she previously told followers on Instagram: “A mutual friend, they set us up on a blind date at a festival.”
“Would not recommend for a first date. Couldn’t hear anything.” Although considering Roz and Zach are now getting hitched, there might just be something to this method!
The couple have been living together since 2018.
“He’s one of those people, it’s really rare, that you can spend 24/7 with them. It’s easy because we both do our own thing and we’re both really supportive of each other,” she previously told STELLAR Magazine.
While no wedding plans have been confirmed yet, Roz did previously hint at what followers could expect.
In 2019, her sister Rebecca tied the knot in a secret ceremony, not telling guests it was a wedding until they arrived.
When asked, “Would you do a secret wedding like your sister?” Roz simply replied, “100% or just elope.” But this was a few years ago, so her opinion may have changed.
