Rosie Connolly has opened up about motherhood and explained that it didn’t go exactly how she planned, but that it worked out even better.

The top blogger admitted that before she had her first child Harry, she never thought about having kids.

Rosie was just 22 when she fell pregnant with her son and revealed that she hadn’t planned on becoming a mother at the time.

“I love being a mum. My biggest and best achievement in my life! But I was never maternal and never thought about having kids!” she said.

“I always thought if I did have them it would be later in life. Harry was a surprise for us and what an absolute blessing he was! He changed both our lives for the better and made me the person I am today, as cheesy as that sounds!”

“I never knew I would enjoy being a mum as much as I do… he was sent to us for sure!”

Rosie is now pregnant with her second child and is due to have a baby girl on the 8th of March.

During a Q and A on Instagram, the influencer spoke about having a stepson, and how her little girl will have lots of love from her big brothers.

“I have an amazing stepson who we adore!” she said.

“He’s Harry’s best buddy and we’re lucky to have him in our lives. I don’t share that as it’s private but rest assured he’s very loved and a happy little man.”

“I think she will be looked after in the brother department for sure, she’s one lucky little girl,” she said.

Rosie also revealed that she’s happy with two children but that she is young enough to have more in the future. But the stylish star admits that pregnancy can take a toll on her mental health.

When asked by a fan about dealing with postnatal depression, she explained how she overcame the struggle.

“I spoke to my husband and family. I told them I needed some help. I went to my GP and went back on my anxiety medication along with starting CBT which all worked a treat.”

Offering her own advice, Rosie said: “Don’t be afraid to ask for help. Don’t suffer in silence. There is always something that can be done to make things easier for you.”
