Rory Cowan has publicly slammed those who protested outside the Health Minister’s home on Sunday.
Around 20 people from Fingal Battalion Direct Action Group gathered outside Simon Harris’s family home in Greystones over the weekend and left peacefully when the gardai arrived.
The former Mrs Browns Boys star took to social media to discuss the incident and labelled the act as ‘dreadful’.
“This is dreadful. Simon has a wife and a new baby at home,” he said.
“At what point did these protesters think that this was the appropriate place to hold a protest. At what point did they think it was ok to leave all their decency aside?”
Fans and followers took to the comments to agree with the actor calling it ‘disgraceful’.
Simon and his wife Caoimhe welcomed a baby girl, Caoimhe, just three weeks ago.
