She’s best known for playing neat-freak Monica in Friends – but Courteney Cox’s latest project has been directing her first music video for Irish band Kodaline.
The rockers are currently touring the US and have been staying with Courteney and her fiancé Johnny McDaid from Snow Patrol in their Malibu mansion.
The famous actress confirmed her music video debut when she Tweeted a pic with our most famous quartet, along with the caption: “Hanging with Kodaline after a day of shooting their next video.”
And the 50-year-old gushed to US Weekly: “They’re amazing”
“My fiancé had produced a track with them and when they were doing it at the studio, I said, ‘Guys, I have to direct this video.’ I felt it, I saw it,” she revealed.
Although the Friends star made her directing debut last year, with a film starring none other than her ex-husband David Arquette, this will be the first time she gets behind the camera for a band.
Kodaline frontman Steve Garrigan joked to The Irish Sun that the band initially struggled not to hum the theme tune of Friends around her or call her Monica by mistake.
The Hollywood star and her Irish fiance Johnny announced their engagement last year, and rumour has it they may even tie the knot in Ireland, some time in the very near future.
Meanwhile, we can expect to see the Kodaline boys back this side of the world in June when they perform in both Cork and Dublin.
