Pippa O’Connor stepped out to support her best friend Brian Dowling during his most recent appearance on Dancing with the Stars.
The businesswoman attended the show in Ardmore Studios last night, to watch Brian perform with partner Laura Nolan.
“It’s my first time to see him dancing live, in person. Well that’s not entirely true, I’ve seen him loads but I wouldn’t call it dancing,” she joked.
Brian and Laura performed a Charleston to Fat Sam’s Grand Slam, and received a score of 18 from the judges.
Judge Brian Redmond called it their ‘best performance to date’, while Julian Benson said, “That was one razzmatazz and all that jazz charleston. It was fun cheeky and entertaining.”
Lorraine Barry added, “I thought the storyline was superb, I thought you both played it to perfection and the lifts were also wonderful and the eight bars of the charleston you gave me were great, but not enough…everything else was great, but just more charleston.”
Brian was thrilled with how the performance went, saying, “I think if there’s one routine or one dance that’s suited to me, it’s the charleston.”
We can’t wait to see how he gets on next week.
