Pippa O’ Connor has shared some home truths about parenting to her online followers on her popular blog. Fans of the model mum were treated to an array of advice, with Pippa opening up about things she’s learned since becoming a mum to Ollie, 2.

First and foremost, the 31-year-old believes that mothers should should take other people’s advice ‘with a pinch of salt’.

She wrote, “What works for someone doesn’t mean it’ll work for you and your baby, and vice versa.”

Pippa now has patience she never knew existed.

We love her honesty on the hot topic, and in particular her positivity on parenting.

“Ignore people who say things like “oh enjoy your sleep while you can” or “that’ll be the end of your social life”, she said.

“Firstly nobody needs to hear the negativity, especially first time mums. Secondly that’s not true either! It’s okay to make mistakes; nobody’s the “perfect” parent.”

Pippa added: “Things that worried me or that seemed important before having him really aren’t that important anymore.”

“Every parent struggles with the juggle of it all. It’s hard. People just don’t share that part on social media.”

Meanwhile, the showbiz mum, hubby Brian Ormond and their adorable son enjoyed a relaxing break away from their busy lifestyle recently, and shared plenty of pics of their trip to all their social media followers.
