Irish comedian Patrick Kielty and UK presenter Cat Deeley welcomed their first son in January, and up until now they had kept the name a secret.
Last week So You Think You Can Dance presenter, Cat, was pictured wearing a necklace with the name of her son written on it, but she insists it was not a media ploy. The name on the necklace reads Milo – how sweet?
Speaking to Access Hollywood Cat said, “The reason we didn’t say it beforehand actually was because he hadn’t met all the other family – my husband is Irish and he hadn’t met all their family yet in Ireland, so it felt weird to announce it to everyone when he hadn’t met his granny and uncles and nieces.
“There was nothing contrived. It was cute though, right?”
Patrick is from Down, and although himself and Cat didn’t grow up in the sunshine, the blonde beauty told People Magazine that they plan on raising their children in Los Angeles for the time being.
“We’re going to ensure we take the baby back home to visit our families as much as possible but, for now, we’re happy here in Los Angeles and are excited to bring up our child with an outdoors lifestyle.”
“They’re going to experience the LA sunshine Patrick and I never got to experience,” she said.
