Former Made in Chelsea star Nicola Hughes is always picture perfect when it comes to her looks. The Dubliner never has an eyelash out of place, and knows exactly what works well for her.
With the party season fast approaching, we decided to catch up with Nicola’s make-up artist,Michelle Regazzoli, to find out how to recreate her stunning looks at home.
Starting with the base, Michelle told us, “We kept the skin really radiant. We used some of the new Victoria Beckham Illuminating Primer on the skin, then some Chanel foundation. We contoured with Charlotte Tilbury’s Bronze and Glow contour kit.”
For eyes, she said, “Nicola loves mattes. She’s not too much of a fan of shimmer – particularly in silvers or gold. What I used all over the eye was a really pale concealer, MAC Pro Longwear in shade NC25.
“Over that, I put a matte, very soft base, which was from Inglot. I also then mixed two or three really warm browns from Inglot as well. It was from the new Spice Palette. I used a nice warm chocolate brown then just around the outer corner of her eye, and smoked it across ever so slightly. I then applied some Kiss lashes in Diva. They are nice and spikey. She likes her eyes to look really open.”
Finally, the whole look comes together with her lips: “She doesn’t really like too much on her lips. I went for a Japanese Maple lipstick by MAC cosmetics.”
Michelle says that “everything was very fresh, and not very dramatic. It’s perfect for a Christmas night out.”
