Nuala Carey has stepped in to guest present The Today Show as Maura Derrane battles laryngitis.
Maura fell ill before yesterday’s show, and has taken a few days off to recover.
“I have completely lost my voice,” she said on social media.
“Was fighting a sore throat for the last few days. Whispering is not fun, especially when you’re trying to tell a four year old what to do.”
Nuala joined Daithi on the couch yesterday afternoon to co-present the show, and viewers couldn’t get enough of her!
“You two were just brilliant today. You look so pretty Nuala. Loved the guna, the hair and the make-up,” said one fan.
Another quickly added, “Looking fab Nuala, and so relaxed with Daithi!”
