Nicola Hughes has shared a sweet tribute to her husband, Charlie Tupper, in honour of their first wedding anniversary.
Sharing a stunning snap from their wedding day, Nicola captioned the post, highlighting their achievements during their first year as a married couple.
Writing: “A year of being your wife.. we’ve just bought our first home, we have a baby on the way & I couldn’t love you more.”
Charlie also shared a sweet tribute to his wife Nicola.
Writing: “1 year around the sun as husband & wife. Moved country, bought a home, having a baby. Couldn’t be happier, all thanks to you. Happy anniversary x”
The Irish star tied the knot to fiancé Charlie Tupper at Botleys Mansion in Surrey, last year.
The couple were planning on having their wedding in France but due to restrictions on travel and numbers, they decided to swap the location to the UK and plan a whirlwind wedding in just six weeks. They did an amazing job!
Nicola spoke to OK! Magazine about her big day, “We had the best day, we were so happy.
“We were actually due to get married in France but because of the pandemic we moved it to the UK and did a really quick turnaround in six weeks. Our wedding in France was going to be a lot smaller, so it was nice we got to have everyone there this way.”
The couple are currently expecting their first child together.
Announcing the good news in May, with a sweet snap of herself and husband Charlie cradling her bump, Nicola simply wrote: “Hi baby”.
