Nicola Coughlan is going back to her comedy roots.
It was announced earlier this year that Nicola would be joining a new comedy series penned by her pal for Channel 4.
Now she has confirmed that filming has wrapped on the show called Big Mood.
She took to Instagram to reshare a post of her friend and the show’s creator Camilla Whitehill as she showcased the present Nicola got her.
She stood against a white trailer in her green t-shirt emblazoned with the words: “I [heart] my Irish girlfriend”.
The love heart featured a tricolour as well as Nicola’s smiling face.
“@nicolacoughlan got me a wrap gift,” she captioned the picture.
We can’t cope!
According to the synopsis of the show, Big Mood is about two young women trying to navigate life.
“Big Mood is set to explore the nuances of female friendship when threatened by the complexities of serious mental illness.
“A series of chaotic events put Maggie (Nicola Coughlan) and Eddie’s (Lydia West) decade-long friendship to the test. With the pair at a pivotal point in their lives, and Maggie’s bipolar disorder making an unwelcome return, Eddie begins to question whether this friendship is really in their best interests.”
We don’t have a release date just yet but we can’t wait to watch!
