Niall Horan has broken his social media silence following One Direction’s 6th birthday celebrations yesterday.
The Mullingar native was noticeably absent on social media yesterday, when the band celebrated their 6th birthday – much to his fan’s disappointment.
This is the first One Direction birthday where the boys are no longer together, so it’s a bittersweet time for the boys.
However, much to fan’s delight Niall surprised fans by breaking his silence late last night to thank them for their unwavering support.
He said, “6 years . wow ! As Louis touched in his message, each one of you have played in a part in changing lives.
“You are the best fans in the world as you know . . Thank you so much for everything so far.”
Liam Payne was the only One Direction member left to speak out about the birthday, but he eventually followed in Niall’s footsteps and took to Twitter this morning to mark the occasion and reassure fans that the band will reunite in the future.
He said, “Very late to the party but wow six years of us!! still so many more to come I’ve never been part of something so amazing.”
Here’s hoping their reunion comes sooner rather than later!
