The Blizzards front man Niall ‘Bressie’ Breslin shared with fans, how he has tested positive for Covid-19.
Taking to Twitter he shared a picture of his positive antigen test. Confessing; “With all my ‘I still haven’t caught covid,’ shite talk . Well it’s well and truly got me.
“Absolutely floored”
He also joked about his diagnosis sharing a study claiming those who hadn’t yet caught Covid-19 had less of a social life, captioning it; “Glad I have friends though all the same”
Just yesterday Bressie opened up about his life during lockdown and how he stayed safe. Confessing he moved out of the home he shares with his girlfriend and bandmate, Louize Carroll, to isolate with his parents.
Praising how understanding Louize was, he told the Sunday World; “I’ve lived with Louize now for a while, but throughout the lockdown I was cocooning with my parents and that was very testing because she couldn’t come in.”
“My parents are over 70 with underlying health issues, so I said right, I have to make this decision.”
“Louize was amazing about it, having the maturity to understand why I had to do that. So that’s the type of stuff you want in a relationship.”
The musician couldn’t help but gush about their relationship, but also revealed that initially the pair were nervous about being a couple while being co-workers in the band.
As the Dubliner explained; “I thought being in a band would be testing for us, but it’s not really.”
“To be honest, it’s been pretty damn easy and I think it has brought the band closer together as well. Dec and Justin just adore her. So it’s really good to have that.” he added.
Sharing more about his girlfriend, the singer said; “Louize is a special human, a really talented musician, but an incredible therapist and I’ve seen the work she has done for many years.”
