Last week Karen Koster and Greg O’Shea bid farewell to The Six O’Clock Show.
It was a teary goodbye and viewers were left wondering how the show would continue.
Well in the very capable hands of Katja Mia and Brian Dowling! That’s how.
The pair made their debut on Monday evening to the delight of those watching at home.
Brian introduced the new hosting duo, saying: “We are your new partners in prime time baby on The Six O’Clock Show.”
For their first show, they were joined by Pippa O’Connor, celebrity chef Donal Skehan and former 2FM DJ Rick O’Shea.
“Blessed with BDG as my partner in prime time 1 show downnnn,” Katja wrote as she shared a picture of the two of them after the show.
Brian also shared a post, writing: “Show One down, bring on the next 1,000.

Viewers took to social media to sing their praises, one wrote: “Such a good first show well done to you both.”

The Six O’Clock Show continues on Virgin Media weekdays at 6pm
